Randy Houser

Brother Randy is the husband of Mrs. Vonnie Houser. He and his wife have been members of Fairview Baptist Church since 2009. Together, they have six children and ten grandchildren. Bro. Randy attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University before joining the Durant Police Department in 1992. He has dedicated his life to the service of the citizens of Durant and is the Chief of Police. He attended the FBI National Academy, an executive leadership course in Quantico, VA being congratulated by then FBI Director Robert Mueller. Randy also serves on various boards and committees in the State, such as the SE Representative to the Oklahoma Association of Chiefs of Police, President of the Oklahoma Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates, Member of the Emergency Responders Assistance Program Advisory Board, SE Representative for the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training Advisory Council and is the SE State Coordinator for the International Association of Chiefs of Police Oklahoma Drug Recognition Expert Section. Most recently, Mr. Houser was appointed by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt to serve as the sitting police chief on the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s seven-member Commission. Randy has been an active servant of Christ, leading a small group on Sunday Morning for the past seven years.
